The Principles of A Spiritual Life

1) Do you believe that God loves you, and cares about you individually?

The Bible says: “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, ‘Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.’” (Jeremiah 31:3) And, “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.” (1John 4:9)

2) Do you acknowledge that sin has separated you from God, and prevents a personal relationship from developing?

The Bible says: “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.“ (Isa 59:2)

3) Do you know that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived, died, and was raised from the dead to redeem you from sin and death?

The Bible says: “And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21)

4) Do you believe that, by accepting Jesus as your personal Savior, you will be set free from sin - both its power and its results?

The Bible says: “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for His Seed remaineth in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.“ (1John 3:9)

5) Are you willing to seek God with all your heart, and surrender all, in order to experience victory over sin, and everlasting life?

The Bible says: “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
